This is a vintage Bucherer Archimedes watch from the 1970s and the reference number is 2824.505, which is a sought-after collector's item. The Archimedes line is named after the famous Greek mathematician and inventor, Archimedes, and is known for its timeless and classic designs. Bucherer Archimedes watches are highly regarded for their quality and craftsmanship and are often considered collectible items. They are produced in limited quantities, which can make them difficult to find and highly sought after by collectors.
 
It is a self-winding watch powered by a Swiss Bucherer movement, caliber ETA 2824-2, 25 jewels, adjusted, date indicator (sets by changing 22-24h), hack mechanism, and sweep second.

The dial is white/silver, and showing some patina, with silver hour marks, luminous dots, black minute track and silver matching hands. The small date window is located at 3 o’clock. The dial is signed Bucherer, Automatic, and Swiss Made. It features a 34.8mm round case and stepped lug design, all made of stainless steel and display case back. The stainless steel Bucherer bracelet is original.

This is a very elegant timepiece that is still running and keeping excellent time!

Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
