Georges Graham, a renowned English watchmaker, born in 1673, founded the Graham brand in London in 1695. After a century of success, however, the Graham brand lost prominence. Nonetheless, Graham was eventually revived in Switzerland in 1995 by a group of Swiss and British enthusiasts, including Eric Loth, three centuries after its founding. Currently, the independent watchmaker produces his timepieces in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the center of the Swiss watchmaking industry.
The Graham Chronofighter watch collection made headlines when it debuted in 2001 and continues to be one of the company's most popular collections. Its design was partly influenced by the watches worn by British fighter and bomber pilots during World War II and by the Panerai company's crown protector. The crown and chronograph functions have been shifted to the left, and the start/stop button has been designed for right-handed operation.
This timepiece features a screw-down crown, and the chronograph is started and stopped by the black carbon trigger button on the left side of the case and can be reset by pressing the top left push button. The solid titanium case back is secured with eight screws. The dial displays silver-toned and orange luminescent syringe-shaped hour/minute hands, orange and red with luminescent coating arrow-shaped sub-dial function hands for optimal nighttime readability.
This pristine pre-owned timepiece is offered with its original box and is covered by a one-year warranty from Twain Time.
